Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 24th day of September 1959.

The Rotorua-Whakatane State Highway (from a point 4 chains south-east of the bridge over the Rangitaiki River to a point 18 chains south-west of the junction of the Te Teko-Awakeri via Edgecumbe main highway with the said State highway).

The Te Teko-Awakeri via Edgecumbe main highway (from its junction with the Rotorua-Whakatane State Highway to a point 24 chains measured in a northerly direction along the Te Teko-Awakeri via Edgecumbe Main Highway from the said junction).
