Revocation of Appointment and Appointment of Transport Licensing Authority for No. 4 Transport District

Pursuant to section 87 of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes as from the 15th day of October 1959 the appointment of William Melville Will as the District Licensing Authority for the No. 4 Transport District, made by Warrant dated the 15th day of September 1959, and hereby appoints Charles Johnson Wright as District Licensing Authority for the No. 4 Transport District for a term commencing on the 16th day of October 1959 and expiring on the 31st day of December 1959.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Auckland City Council at current market value, the proceeds of any such sale to be paid into the Council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.
