A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 3 roods 25·1 perches, situated in Block III, Otamatea Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining Sections 34 and 203, Town of Kaiwaka, and part Allotment S.W. 58, Parish of Kaiwaka; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160219 (S.O. 41145) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

ALL that piece of road containing 2·5 perches, situated in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District, Auckland R.D., adjoining or passing through Lot 1, D.P. 35929, being part Tahunaroa No. 2 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158857 (S.O. 39182) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

ALL that piece of Government road containing 14·2 perches, situated in Block I, Maramarua Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part land in Proclamation No. 16304, Auckland Land Registry; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156009 (S.O. 40629) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, edged yellow.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Palmerston North to the Purposes of a Street

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street and that the said street shall be under the control of the Palmerston North City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
