NOTICE is hereby given that, by an entry in its minute book signed in accordance with section 262 (1) of the Companies Act 1955, the above-named company, on the 23rd day of September 1959, passed a resolution for voluntary winding up and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will accordingly be held at the Meeting Room of the Master Builders Association, Abel Smith Street, Wellington, on Friday, 2 October 1959, at 10.30 a.m.

Business
(1) Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors, etc.
(2) Nomination of liquidator.
(3) Appointment of committee of inspection if thought fit.

IN conformity with the above Act, I, Ernest Bissett, General Manager of the Guardian Trust and Executors Co. of New Zealand Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:

  1. That the liability of the members is limited. The capital of the company is £100,000, fully paid, divided into 20,000 shares of £5 each.

The assets of the company in its corporate capacity on the 30th day of June last were £173,944.

The liabilities of the company in its corporate capacity on that day were £5,100.

The first annual licence was issued on the 10th day of March 1911.

  1. That, in the capacity of trustees and executors, the amount of moneys received on account of estates up to the 30th day of June last was £88,467,055.

The amount of moneys paid on account of estates up to that day was £88,010,320.

The amount of balances held in trust accounts at various banks on account of estates under administration on that day was £456,734.

  1. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
——
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitaki County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, deviations to and reconstruction of portion of the Waiareka-Ngapara-Duntroon Main Highway, near Duntroon, within the County of Waitaki, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Thames Street, Oamaru, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Waitaki County Council Chambers, Thames Street, Oamaru.
