Vesting Reserves in the Marlborough County Council

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby vests the reserves described in the Schedule hereto in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Marlborough, in trust, for road purposes.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Howick Borough Council on the 14th day of April 1959:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Howick Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be Crown Land, Subject to Certain Rights

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 5th day of October 1959, subject to the building-line restriction contained in K. 67771, Auckland Land Registry, and subject to the agreement as to fencing contained in memorandum of transfer No. 625877, Auckland Land Registry.
