Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Waitemata County Council

———

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the lands described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata, in trust, for those purposes.

Licensing the Buller Fishermen’s Association to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark in the Floating Basin, Westport Harbour, as a Site for a Slipway

———

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Buller Fishermen’s Association (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in the Floating Basin, Westport Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10570 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a slipway thereon as shown on the said plan; such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

3. The term of this licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1959.

Licensing Arthur John Smales, Henry Daniel Robertson, and Frederick Ewart Ford (as Trustees for the Inhabitants of the District) to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark at Whakapirau, Kaipara Harbour, as a Site for a Building

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Arthur John Smales, Henry Daniel Robertson, and Frederick Ewart Ford (as trustees for the inhabitants of the district) (hereinafter called the licensees, which term shall include their successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Whakapirau, Kaipara Harbour, as shown on plans marked M.D. 2719 and 2721 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a building as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensees upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The annual rental payable by the licensee shall be one shilling (1s.), payable on demand.

3. The term of the licence shall be fourteen (14) years from the 1st day of August 1959.
