(1) Objection to a proposed service lane in the commercial zone.

(2) Objection to the exclusion from the rural zones of land with a high potential value for the production of food and of citrus fruits, and to the encroachment of urban development on that land.

(3) Objection to the prescribed minimum frontage and area of subdivisions for dwellinghouses as predominant uses in rural zones.

OBJECTIONS TO BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME (PAIHIA SECTION)

THE Bay of Islands County Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to the Bay of Islands County District Scheme (Paihia Section), will commence at the Council Office, Kawakawa, at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, the 7th day of October 1959, and will continue as there arranged from time to time and place to place until all objectors and witnesses have been heard.

All persons wishing to be heard in support of or in opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly at least three days before that date.

The objections may be inspected and copies made at the Council office at any time when the office is open to the public.

The following is a summary of the subject-matter of the objections received by the Council—

(1) Objection to the inclusion of land fronting Marsden Road in a commercial zone.

(2) Objection to the inclusion of certain land in an industrial zone.

(3) Objection to the reservation of certain land as a bus depot and car park.

(4) Objection to the depth of certain sites in the commercial zone between Williams Road and School Road.

(5) Objection to an existing light industry being included in a residential zone.

OBJECTIONS TO BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME (MOEREWA SECTION)

THE Bay of Island County Council hereby gives notice that the hearing of objections to the Bay of Islands County District Scheme (Moerewa Section) will commence at the Council Office, Kawakawa, at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, the 6th day of October 1959, and will continue as there arranged from time to time and place to place until all objectors and witnesses have been heard.

All persons who wish to be heard in support of or in opposition to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly at least three days before that date.

The objections may be inspected at the Council office and copies made at any time when the office is open to the public.

The following is a summary of the subject-matter of the objections received by the Council:

(1) Objection to the inclusion of certain land in the commerical “B” zone.

(2) Objection to the exclusion of certain land from the commercial “B” zone.

(3) Objection to the requirements of ordinance 18 of the Code of Ordinances in respect of the provision of off-street parking facilities in commercial zones.

(4) Objection on the ground that no provision has been made for residential zone adjoining the west side of the proposed connecting road running from Lot 11. D.P. 38425, to Lot 1, D.P. 44554.

(5) Objection to the requirements of ordinance 10 of the Code of Ordinances in respect of the minimum area and frontage of building sites on commercial zones.

(6) Objection to the zoning of land along the Whangarei-Awanui State Highway for urban purposes.

(7) Objection to the prescribed minimum frontage and area of subdivisions for dwellinghouses in rural zones.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance.

Single copies available as issued.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon.

Free Postage: All Publications sold by the Department are now post free—except that when trade discount is allowed, postage or freight is payable by the purchaser.
