Revocation of Approval to Issue Warrants of Fitness

PURSUANT to subclause (3) of regulation 52 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Minister of Transport hereby revokes the approval of the firm described in the Schedule hereto to issue warrants of fitness for motor vehicles.

Notifying the Exchange of State Forest Land in the Westland Land District for Other Land

NOTICE is hereby given that the area described in the First Schedule hereto has been acquired as permanent State forest land by way of exchange for the area described in the Second Schedule hereto, pursuant to section 22 of the Forests Act 1949.

RESERVE 2033 (formerly Lot 1, D.P. 1340, being part Rural Sections 648 and 2583), situated in Blocks IV and VIII, Kopara Survey District, Grey County: Area, 74 acres 1 rood, more or less. Part certificates of title, Volume 57 folio 207, and Volume 58, folio 73, shown on plan No. 126/82 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

DESCRIPTION OF AREA EXCHANGED

Westland Land District—Westland Conservancy

PART Reserve 1614 (permanent State forest, Gazette, 1940, page 1785), situated in Block VIII, Kopara Survey District, Grey County: Area, 66 acres 1 rood 26 perches, more or less. Notifying Wilderness Area—Fiordland National Park—Secretary Island Wilderness Area

NOTICE is hereby given that the Fiordland National Park Board, in terms of section 34 of the National Parks Act 1952, by resolution dated 18 April 1959 set apart as a wilderness area that part of the Fiordland National Park containing 20,000 acres, more or less, and being all that area in the Southland Land District known as Secretary Island and bounded as follows:

Commencing on the north-east by Thompson Sound; on the south-west by Doubtful Sound; and on the north-west by the Tasman Sea.

As the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. N.P. 26A and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The wilderness area will be subject to the restrictions imposed by section 34 of the National Parks Act 1952 and by the Fiordland National Park Bylaws.

Biological Products Exempted from the Provisions of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951 (Notice No. Ag. 6831)

PURSUANT to subclause (14) of regulation 40 of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951, notice is hereby given that the Stock Remedies Registration Board has resolved that the provisions of the said regulation shall not apply to the following products:

  1. Vetspen Hypodermic “500” penicillin injection for the treatment of sheep at lambing time.
  2. Vetspen Hypodermic “100” penicillin injection for the treatment of lambs.
