Varying a Notice Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945
Pursuant to section 14 (2) of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby varies the notice dated 7 December 1948 and published in the Gazette, 16 December 1948, page 1547, declaring parts of the Wairarapa Tribal District to be tribal committee areas for the purposes of the said Act, by deleting from the Schedule thereto the descriptions of the Mahitaone Tribal Committee Area and the Te Ore Ore Tribal Committee Area and substituting therefor the description appearing in the Schedule hereto.

TE ORE ORE TRIBAL COMMITTEE AREA
ALL that area comprising the Borough of Masterton and part of the County of Masterton bounded by a line commencing at a point on the summit of the Tararua Range due west of the northernmost source of the Waingawa River; thence north-easterly along the summit of the range to Mount Dundas Trig. Station and a right line in the direction of Arawaru Trig. Station to point bearing 297° from Tawhero Trig. Station; thence south-easterly along a right line to Tawhero Trig. Station and along the Tawhero Range to the western boundary of Section 9, Block IV, Mikimiki Survey District; thence southerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Ruamahanga River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 71, Block VIII, Mikimiki Survey District, being a point on the boundary of the County of Masterton as described in Gazette, 1958, at page 1261; thence easterly generally along that county boundary to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 824, Whareama Block (Block III, Mangapakeha Survey District); thence south-easterly to and along that boundary to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 4896; thence southerly generally along the eastern boundary of Lot 1 and the western boundary of Lot 2 on D.P. 4896, to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence along a right line bearing 277° 36′, distant 2428·3 links; thence along a right line bearing 249° 53′, distant 2644·3 links, to the southern boundary of Section 303; thence westerly along that boundary to the eastern boundary of Section 812; thence southerly along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Section 293; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 293, 872, 875, the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section to the southern boundary of Lot 2 of Section 877, along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Section 877 to and along the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 1175, along the eastern boundary of Section 881, the south-western boundaries of Sections 881 and 879, the eastern boundary of Section 878, the western boundaries of Lots 3 and 2, D.P. 880, to the south-western corner of the said Lot 2; thence along a right line bearing 296° 33′ to the south-eastern boundary of Section 876; thence along the generally southern boundaries of parts of Lots 2 and 1 of Section 876, and part Lot 1 of Section 874, along the generally eastern boundaries of Sections 863, 868, and 866, and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 525 to Trig. Station Clyde; all the aforesaid sections being of the Whareama Block unless otherwise stated; thence south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station Ngatukoko on the eastern boundary of Te Kahu Block (Block XI, Otahoua Survey District); thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of Te Kahu Block, to and along the south-western boundary of the area shown on D.P. A/2010 to the Pohatu River; thence along the generally south-western boundaries of Patukawa Nos. 2 and 3 and Pukemokimoki Nos. 1, 2, and 3, to the Taueru River; thence down the middle of that river to and up the middle of the Ruamahanga River and the middle of the Waingawa River to its source; thence due west to the point of commencement.

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Takapuna Borough Council on the 21st day of July 1959:
“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Takapuna Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple, and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Nelson City Council
Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for a site for communal garages and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Nelson, in trust, for that purpose.
