Leasehold Interest in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road,
in Block XIV, Waingaromia Survey District, Waikohu
County
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold interest in the
land firstly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her
Majesty the Queen by John Weldon Wilson, of Kanakanaia,
under and by virtue of Crown lease No. R.L.S. 307, Gisborne
Land Registry, and the land secondly described in the Schedule
hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Enid Primrose
Wilson, John Weldon Wilson, Alice Margaret Clare Hopkins,
wife of Henry Port Hopkins, of Te Puke, and Amy Helen
Briant, as tenants in common in equal shares, under and by
virtue of Crown lease No. R.L.S. 308, Gisborne Land
Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 31st day of August 1959.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XIV, Waingaromia
Survey District, Waikohu County, Gisborne R.D., described as
follows:

2 1 38·5 Part Section 7.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 159741 (S.O. 5043) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.
