PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing kerbing and channelling and reconstructing and sealing roads, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·188453d. (pence) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special rating area, comprising the whole of the Harewood Riding of the Waimairi County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing kerbing and channelling and reconstructing and sealing roads, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·122128d. (pence) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special rating area, comprising the whole of the Wairarapa Riding of the Waimairi County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

KAITAIA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaitaia Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,000 authorised to be raised by the Kaitaia Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and improving the existing fire station, he said Kaitaia Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of twenty-five hundredths of a penny in the pound (0·025d. in the pound) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Kaitaia; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Kaitaia Borough Council held on the 8th day of July 1959.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Ranfurly Sewerage Loan 1959, £64,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Maniototo County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on the Ranfurly Sewerage Loan 1959, £64,000 authorised to be raised by the Maniototo County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing sewerage reticulation and treatment plant for the County Town of Ranfurly, the Maniototo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and seven-eighths (1⅞d.) of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all the rateable property in the Ranfurly Riding of the Maniototo County; and such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Maniototo County Council held on the 26th day of June 1959.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Reticulation Loan 1959, £20,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitomo Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of additions and extensions to the existing reticulation system and otherwise providing for the use of electrical energy throughout the Waitomo Electric Power District, the Waitomo Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-ninth of a penny (1/9d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Waitomo Electric Power District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Dated at Te Kuiti this 20th day of July 1959.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitaki Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £130,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitaki Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Waitaki Electric Power District, the said Waitaki Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·1841d. in the pound upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property of the Waitaki Electric Power District comprising the constituent districts of Oamaru Borough, Hampden Borough, Waitaki County, and part Waimate County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The Waitaki Electric Power Board at its meeting on 18 June 1959, passed the above resolution.

PUBUC notice is hereby given that the Coromandel County Council, at its meeting held on 15 July 1959, has resolved to prepare for the Coromandel County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and County Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Coromandel District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered to the Coromandel County Clerk’s office on or before the 30th day of September 1959.
