Appointments, Promotions, Extensions of Commission, and Date of Retirement of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotions, extensions of commission, and date of retirement of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Appointments

The under-mentioned cadet aircrew are granted short-service commissions in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, for a period ending 6 January 1965, to be followed by four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. They are appointed to the rank of Acting Pilot Officer, with seniority and with effect from 19 June 1959:

He is appointed to the rank of Acting Pilot Officer, with seniority and with effect from 19 June 1959.

Cadet Pilot Richard Michael Ingham (79491) is granted a temporary commission in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, for the duration of basic flying training in the rank of Acting Pilot Officer, with seniority and with effect from 19 June 1959.

Promotions

The age for retirement of Flight Lieutenant the Rev. Kenneth Schollar, B.A. (75440), is extended for a period of two years, with effect from 24 April 1957.

This cancels notice in Gazette, 2 May 1957, Vol. II, page 766.

Extension of Date of Retirement

The age for retirement of Squadron Leader the Rev. Kenneth Schollar, B.A. (75440), is extended for a further period of one year, with effect from 24 April 1959.
