POREWA RIDING

ALL that area in the County of Rangitikei bounded by a
line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitikei
River on the south-western boundary of the North Island
Main Trunk Railway, the said point being a point on the
boundary of the County of Rangitikei as described in Gazette,
1957, page 1653, and also on the boundary of the Rangitoto
Riding hereinbefore described; thence north-westerly generally
along the north-eastern boundaries of the Rangitoto Riding
to the intersection of the northern side of Makirikiri Road
and the eastern side of Williamson Road being a point on
the boundary of the Otakapu Riding hereinbefore described;
thence nortnerly generally along the eastern boundaries of
that riding to the north-eastern corner of Section 54, Turakina District, being a point on the boundary of the
Whangaehu Riding hereinbefore described; thence northerly
and easterly generally along the western and southern
boundaries of that riding to the southern corner of Section
16, Paraekaretu Block; thence southerly generally along the
western side of Mount Curl Road to a point in line with
the southern boundary of that part of Block CCLXXX,
Rangitikei District, as shown on D.P. A/287; thence easterly
to and along that boundary and the northern boundary of
that part of Section 17, Paraekaretu Block, as shown
on the said D.P. A/287; thence southerly generally along
the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid part of Section
17, the eastern boundaries of part Lot 1, D.P. 4314, the
abutment of Warrens Road, the northern and eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 5074, the eastern and southern
boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 5074, across Jefferson Road to
and along the eastern boundaries of Sections 10s and 15s
Greystoke Settlement, Lot 1, D.P. 1270, and part Block
XXXIX, Rangitikei District, to the easternmost corner of
that block; thence easterly along the northern boundary of
Block XII, Rangitikei District, and its production to the
middle of the Porewa Stream; thence southerly down the
middle of that stream to a point in the middle of the
Rangitikei River, being a point on the boundary of the
County of Rangitikei aforesaid and along the eastern boundary
of that county to the point of commencement, excluding
therefrom the Borough of Marton as described in Gazette,
1922, page 2788.

RANGITIRA RIDING

ALL that area in the County of Rangitikei bounded by a
line commencing at the confluence of the Rangitikei River
and the Porewa Stream, being a point on the boundary of
the County of Rangitikei as described in Gazette, 1957, page
1653, and also on the boundary of the Porewa Riding hereinbefore described; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries
of that riding to the southern corner of Section 16, Paraekaretu Block, being a point on the boundary of the Whangaehu
Riding hereinbefore described; thence north-easterly generally
along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of that riding
to the north-eastern corner of Section 60, Paraekaretu Block,
on the southern side of Mangahowhi Road; thence easterly
along the southern side of that road and Ongo Road to
the north-western corner of the Hunterville Town District,
being the easternmost corner of Lot 15, D.P. 1046; thence
southerly and easterly generally along the western and
southern boundaries of the Hunterville Town District as
described in Gazette, 1905, page 817, and being the eastern
boundaries of Lot 15, D.P. 1046, Lots 39 and 38, D.P.
1049, the northern boundaries of Lots 37, 36, and 35, D.P.
1049, Lot 1, D.P. 1046, a right line across the Waiouru-Bulls
State Highway, the northern boundaries of part Hapopo

boundary of Section 104, Township of Hunterville, a right
line to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 104, the
eastern boundaries of Sections 104, 103, 102, 101, and 100,
Township of Hunterville, the southern boundaries of Sections
93, 92, 91, and 90, and the eastern boundary of Section 90,
all Township of Hunterville, to the north-western corner of
Lot 28, D.P. 344, on the southern side of Rangatira Road;
thence easterly and southerly generally along the southern
and western sides of that road to the easternmost corner
of Lot 30, D.P. 344; thence north-easterly across Rangitira
Road to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 23,
D.P. 344, to the northernmost corner of Rangitira No. 3
Block; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern and
northern boundaries of that block and its production to the
middle of the Rangitikei River, being a point on the boundary
of the County of Rangitikei aforesaid; thence south-westerly
generally along the south-eastern boundary of that county
to the point of commencement.

OTAIRI RIDING

ALL that area in the County of Rangitikei bounded by a
line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitikei
River in line with the northern boundary of Rangatira No. 3
Block, being a point on the boundary of the County of
Rangitikei as described in Gazette, 1957, page 1653, and
also on the boundary of the Rangatira Riding hereinbefore
described; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of that riding to the north-western corner
of Lot 28, D.P. 344, being a point on the boundary of the
Hunterville Town District as described in Gazette, 1905,
page 817; thence north-westerly generally along the generally
north-eastern boundaries of that town district being a right

TE KAPUA RIDING

ALL that area in the County of Rangitikei bounded by a
line commencing at the intersection of the summit of the
eastern watershed of the Whangaehu River and the southern
boundary of Section 63, Block XIII, Maungakaretu Survey
District, the said intersection being a point on the boundary
of the County of Rangitikei as described in Gazette, 1957,
page 1653; thence easterly along the southern and south-western boundaries of Section 63 aforesaid and the production
of the last-mentioned boundary, to the middle of the Turakina River; thence north-easterly up the middle of that
river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of
Section 1, Block X, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence
south-easterly to and along that boundary, the south-eastern
boundaries of Ruanui 2B 7 and 2B 6, the southern boundaries
of Ruanui 2B 5 and Lots 3 and 5, D.P. 18241, the production
of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Panemango Stream, down the middle of that stream and the
Tamokomoko Stream, up the middle of the Mangapapa Stream
to and along the southern boundaries of Ngaurukehu Block,
Subdivisions A 9, A 10, and A 8, to and down the middle
of the Pahekeheke Stream to a point in line with the
south-western boundary of Section 3, Block XVI, Maungakaretu Survey District, to and along that boundary to and
along the north-western side of Murrays Track to its junction
with Mataroa Road, a right line across that road to the
north-western corner of Section 1, Block XIII, Ohinewairua
Survey District, along the northern and eastern boundaries
of that section to the middle of the Namunui Stream, down
the middle of that stream and the Hautapu River to a point
in the middle of that river in line with the northern boundary
of Section 76, Taihape Village Settlement, being a point on
the boundary of the Borough of Taihape as described in
Gazette, 1906, page 1381; thence westerly, southerly, and
easterly along the northern, western, and southern boundaries
of that borough to the confluence of the Hautapu River and
the Mangaone Stream; thence south-easterly down the middle
of the Hautapu River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Awarua 4c 14B; thence south-westerly
to and along that boundary, along the north-eastern side of
the North Island Main Trunk Railway to a point in line
with the north-western boundary of Awarua 4c 13, across that
railway and the Waiouru-Bulls State Highway to and along
the said north-western boundary to Mataroa Road, due
south along a right line across that road, south-westerly along
the generally western side of that road and the north-western
side of Makohine Valley Road, across the Mangaweka-
Te Kapua Road and along the western side of that road and
Weston Road to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 6,

line across Rangatira Road, to the south-western corner of
Lot 3, D.P. 892, the western boundary of that lot, the

A/3252, and a right line across Ongo Road to the eastern-most corner of Lot 15, D.P. 1046, being a point on the
boundary of the Rangatira Riding hereinbefore described;
thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundaries of that riding to the north-eastern corner of Section 60,
Paraekaretu Block, being a point on the boundary of the
Whangaehu Riding hereinbefore described; thence northerly
along the generally eastern boundaries of that riding to the
north-eastern corner of Section 6, Block XII, Mangawhero
Survey District, being a point on the western boundary of the
County of Rangitikei aforesaid; thence northerly along that
boundary to the south-western corner of Section 10, Block
VIII, Mangawhero Survey District; thence easterly generally
along the south-western boundaries of Section 10, Block
VIII, and Section 7, Block XII, Mangawhero Survey District,
Section 1, Block IX, Tiriraukawa Survey District, and the
production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of
the Turakina River, down the middle of that river and up
the middle of the Mangapapa Stream to a point in line with
the western boundary of Run 33, situated in Block X,
Tiriraukawa Survey District, to and along that boundary,
the southern boundaries of that run, the south-western
boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 465, and its production across
the Murimutu Road; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of that road to the western corner of Lot 3,
D.P. 465; thence south-easterly along the south-western
boundaries of the said Lot 3, and Lots 6, 7, and 8, D.P. 465;
thence southerly generally along the south-western and north-western boundaries of part Ohingaiti No. 3, and Lots 2 and
1, D.P. 14484, the western boundary of the said Lot 1
to and along the north-western side of the Waiouru-Bulls
State Highway to a point in line with the south-western side
of Otara Main Highway, across the Waiouru-Bulls State
Highway and the North Island Main Trunk Railway to and
along the said south-western side of the Otara Main Highway
to a point due south of the westernmost corner of that
part of Ohingaiti 6A 2, situated to the north of the Otara
Main Highway; thence due north along a right line to the
said westernmost corner; thence easterly along the northern
boundary of the aforesaid part of Ohingaiti 6A 2 and the
production of that boundary to the middle of the Rangitikei
River, being a point on the boundary of the Rangitikei
County aforesaid; thence south-westerly along that boundary
to the point of commencement.
