Appointment of the Boy Scouts Association of New Zealand
and the Girl Guides Association (New Zealand Branch)
Incorporated to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints the Boy Scouts Association of
New Zealand and the Girl Guides Association (New
Zealand Branch) Incorporated to control and manage the
reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the pro-
visions of the said Act, as an historic reserve and subject
to the following additional conditions:

  1. The appointment to control and manage the reserve is for
    a period of 5 years from the date hereof.
  2. The said Associations shall prepare a report each year
    ending on 31 March, together with a statement of receipts
    and expenditure in connection with the said reserve. Such
    report and statement shall be sent to the Minister as soon
    as possible after the close of the year.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—UPPER HUTT BLOCKHOUSE
SECTION 723 (formerly part Section 94), Hutt District, situated
in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District: Area, 1 acre, more or

Appointment of the Queenstown Youth Lodge Trust Board
to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints the
Queenstown Youth Lodge Trust Board
to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve
for a site for a youth holiday and recreation camp.

Appointment of the Waikouaiti County Council to Control
and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints the
Waikouaiti County Council
to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule
hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a scenic
reserve.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—EVANSDALE GLEN SCENIC RESERVE
LOT 1, D.P. 7655, being part Section 60, Block I, Waikouaiti
Survey District: Area, 6 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or
less. Subject to X 14889 exempting road frontages from the
provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, sub-
ject to a condition as to building line.
Also Sections 88, 89, 96, and part Sections 62 and 63, Block
I, Waikouaiti Survey District: Area, 43 acres 1 rood 37
perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S.
4/107 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan
8368.)

Appointment of Pharmacy Authority

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Pharmacy Amendment Act
1954, the Minister of Health hereby appoints
Douglas James Dalglish, Esquire, Judge of the Compensation
Court
to be the Pharmacy Authority in place of, and during the
absence of Wilfred Fosberrey Stilwell, Esquire, M.C., Judge
of the Court of Arbitration, and on the return of the said
Wilfred Fosberrey Stilwell he shall be deemed to be re-
appointed as the Pharmacy Authority and the appointment of
the said Douglas James Dalglish shall be deemed to be
revoked.

PURSUANT to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister

Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Whangarei for
a term of one year expiring on the 31st day of May 1960.

Harold Samuel Beehre, Deputy Chairman; and
John Armitage, Donald William Foote, and Robert William
Campbell Fraser (nominated by the New Zealand Port
Employers’ Association Incorporated); and
Hubert Vivian Bevington, Ritchie James Cave, and Ernest
Edmund Flower (nominated by the Whangarei Long-
shoremen’s Industrial Union of Workers).
