Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Oamaru and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 22nd day of June 1959.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 1 rood 6·3 perches.
Being railway land in Proclamation 5415, being Section 1, Block XXV, Town of Oamaru, situated in the Borough of Oamaru. (S.O. 2385.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 7953 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being testing officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

ALL that parcel of land containing 733 acres 3 roods 19⁵/₁₀ perches, more or less, situate in Block V of the Huangarua Survey District, being parts of Sections 19, 36, and 87 of the Moroa Block, and parts of a closed road adjoining or passing through the said Section 87, several of the boundaries of the said parcel of land are more particularly shown on Deposited Plan No. 1114.
