The passenger’s railway or motor ticket, or railway and steamer ticket (for inter-island checked luggage), must be produced before luggage will be accepted for checking.

(a) Newspaper proprietors must send to the railway station with each lot of newspapers or periodicals a consignment note or other form of approved list showing the number of packages for each station, together with the total weight of the whole consignment.
