Defining the Dunedin Abattoir District and Declaring That the Dunedin City Council Shall be the Controlling Authority of the Abattoir District (Notice No. Ag. 6760)

Pursuant to section 15 of the Meat Act 1939, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares that:

(a) The Dunedin Abattoir District shall hereafter consist of all that area described in the Schedule hereto;
(b) The Dunedin City Council shall be the controlling authority of the said abattoir district.

DESCRIPTION OF DUNEDIN ABATTOIR DISTRICT

ALL that area for the time being comprised in the City of Dunedin and the Boroughs of Green Island, Mosgiel, Port Chalmers, St. Kilda, and West Harbour.

Declaration That Part of a Reserve Form Part of the Spencer Park Domain

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that part of the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Spencer Park Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as reserves for road purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said lands may be disposed of by the Papatoetoe Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.

Licensing the Thames Angling Club to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark at Kereta, Thames Coast, as a Site for a Ramp

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Thames Angling Club (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Kereta, Thames Coast, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10520 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable two pounds (£2).
3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of June 1959.
