A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 6 (2) of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the Tribal District heretofore known as the “Rauhotu Tribal District” by virtue of a Proclamation dated 27 July 1951 and published in the Gazette, 2 August 1951, Volume II, page 1087, shall hereafter be known as the “Taranaki Maunga Tribal District”.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of May 1959.

Crown Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in Block XI, Opuawhanga Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of June 1959.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 rood, situated in Block XI, Opuawhanga Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Section 4A; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 159086 (S.O. 41403) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of May 1959.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for post and telegraph purposes (microwave radio repeater station); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of June 1959.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of Crown land containing 1 acre and 26·7 perches, situated in Block XIV, Opaku Survey District, Taranaki R.D., being part Section 633, Patea District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158973 (S.O. 8923) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of June 1959.
