Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Ngatiawa Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that, on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule herefo shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 6 June 1931 and published in the Gazette, 11 June 1931, Volume II, page 1735.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

Pursuant to section 86 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Taranaki Master Painters', Decorators', and Signwriters' Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 2020, situated at New Plymouth, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Lands Declared to be Infected Area (No. 3) for the Purposes of Section 12 of the Stock Act 1908 (Notice No. Ag. 6744)

Pursuant to section 12 of the Stock Act 1908, the lands described in the Schedule herefo have, for the purposes of the said section, been declared an infected area to be known as Infected Area (No. 3).

SCHEDULE

All that area situated in and near the Borough of Wai- pukurau and bounded by a line commencing at a point where Farm Road crosses the Mangatarata Stream; thence north- easterly down the Mangatarata Stream to its confluence with the Tukituki River; thence north-westerly up the Tukituki and Waipawa Rivers to the Palmerston North - Napier State Highway; thence south-easterly generally along the Palmerston North State Highway to River Terrace within the Borough of Wai- pukurau; thence easterly along River Terrace to Mitchell Street; round Mitchell Street to St. Joseph Street; thence southerly along St. Joseph Street to Francis Drake Street; thence easterly along Francis Drake Street to Gow Street; thence southerly along Gow Street to Mount Herbert Road; thence westerly along Mount Herbert Road to Tavistock Place; thence south-westerly along Tavistock Place to Tavis- tock Road; thence southerly along Tavistock Road to Farm Road and along Farm Road to the Mangatarata Stream, being the point of commencement.

As the same is more particularly shown bordered red on the map lodged in the post offices at Hastings, Waipawa, Wai- pukurau, Otane, and Takapau.

Classification of Roads in Clifton County

Pursuant to regulation 3 (II) of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes those portions of the Warrants dated the 26th day of June 1950† and the 6th day of October 1950‡ in so far as they apply to roads described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Clifton County Council's proposed classification and variation in the classification of the said roads as described in the Schedule hereto and situated in Clifton County.
