Revocation of Appointment of Karoro Domain Board and Appointment of New Board

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Karoro Domain Board, as published in Gazette, 28 October 1954, Volume III, page 1694, and appoints the Grey County Council to be the Karoro Domain Board to have control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.

Declaration that Land is a Public Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Te Awamutu Borough Council on the 28th day of July 1958:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for cemetery purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”
