Appointments, Extensions of Commissions, Transfer, and Termination of Commission of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, extensions of commissions, transfer, and termination of commission of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Extension of Commission

Flying Officer Ivan Noel Moran, A.F.M. (71809), is granted an extension of his present commission until 1 June 1964.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH
Extension of Commission

Special Duties Division

Flight Lieutenant Boris Carone (78139) is granted an extension of his present commission until 28 August 1960.

MEDICAL BRANCH
Extension of Commission

Flight Lieutenant Stuart Maxwell Cameron, M.B., CH.B. (78122), is granted an extension of his present commission until 26 August 1960.

AIR TRAINING CORPS
Appointments

Bernhard James McKenzie Bagley Scott is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority and with effect from 12 February 1959.

The under-mentioned are granted commissions in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Pilot Officer, with seniority and with effect from the dates shown:

Extensions of Commissions

Termination of Commission

The commission of Flight Lieutenant Allan Lloyd Ewart (131347) is terminated, with effect from 1 May 1959.

Transfer to the Retired List

Flight Lieutenant Ronald Robert Smith, M.B.E. (70218), is transferred to the Retired List “A”, with effect from 21 September 1958.

Appointment of the Stratford Free Kindergarten Association Incorporated to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the

to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a site for a kindergarten.

Declaration That a Reserve be the Kauri Point Domain and Appointment of Domain Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the Kauri Point Domain, and further, appoints the Birkenhead Borough Council to be the Kauri Point Domain Board to have control of the said domain.

Timber Preservation Regulations—Appointment of Timber Preservation Authority Officer

PURSUANT to the Timber Preservation Regulations 1955,* notice is hereby given:

(1) That the appointment for purposes of the Timber Preservation Regulations 1955 of Ronald Charles Lloyd, Kaikohe, an officer of the New Zealand Forest Service, published in the Gazette of 26 September 1957 is hereby revoked.

(2) That for the purposes of the Timber Preservation Regulations 1955, Ivan Frost, Pureora, an officer of the New Zealand Forest Service is hereby authorised to act as a Timber Preservation Authority Officer, and to exercise powers specified in paragraphs (a), (b), and (c) of regulation 10 (1) of the said regulations.
