THE UPPER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the Borough of Upper Hutt require to take the
land described in the Schedule hereto in connection with a
public work, namely, street; and notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the said land is open for inspection by
all persons without fee during office hours at the offices of
the Upper Hutt Borough Council, at Upper Hutt.
All persons affected are hereby required to set forth in
writing any well grounded objections to the execution of such
work or to the taking of such land and to send such
writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Town Clerk, Upper Hutt Borough Council,
Upper Hutt.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing one rood fourteen decimal
four five perches (1r. 14·45p.), be the same a little more or
less, situate in the Borough of Upper Hutt, being part of
Section 90 of the Hutt District, and being also Lot 11 on
Deposited Plan No. 13419, and being part of the land com-
prised and described in certificate of title, Volume 526, folio
276 (Wellington Registry).

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the
matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
in the matter of the Lower Hutt Borough Empowering
Act 1927
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lower Hutt City Council
proposes, by virtue of the above-mentioned Acts and of all
other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, to execute a
public work, to wit, the construction of a service lane in the
City of Lower Hutt, and for the purposes of such public work
the Council requires to take the pieces of land more parti-
cularly described in the Schedule hereto for service lane;
and notice is hereby given that a plan of the said pieces
of land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices
of the Council, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there
open for inspection during ordinary office hours; and
notice is further given that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said
pieces of land should, if they have any well grounded objection
to the execution of the said public work or the taking of
the said pieces of land, set forth the same in writing and send
such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication
of this notice to the Lower Hutt City Council at its offices
situated as aforesaid.

poses under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and

a certain public work, namely, the widening of Udy Street
in the Borough of Petone; and for the purposes of such
public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are
required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that
a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in
the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council,
situate in Jackson Street, and is open for inspection without
fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

DEVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets and Drainage Redemption Loan 1959, £14,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Devonport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £14,000 (fourteen thousand pounds) authorised to
be raised by the Devonport Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming at maturity
(on 17 July 1959) loans of £40,000 (Streets Improvements
Loan 1923) and £10,000 (Drainage Renewal Loan 1923),
the said Devonport Borough Council hereby makes a special
rate of eleven thirty-seconds of a penny (11/32d.) in the
pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unim-
proved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of
Devonport; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and a correct
copy of the resolution duly passed by the Devonport Borough
Council at a meeting of the said Council held on the 22nd
day of April 1959.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on

authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council
