A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an access way and shall
vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the 27th day of April 1959.

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Wellington,
Wellington R.D., described as follows:

hereby closed and added to the land now held for the develop-
ment of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River
power scheme) described in the Second Schedule hereto.

housing purposes described in the Second Schedule hereto.
