Declaring Land to be Crown Land

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 136 acres 2 roods, more or less, situate in Block X; Kaitawa Survey District, being the Maori Land Court subdivision called or known as Muaupoko A No. 2, Section 2, Subdivision No. 1, and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 156, folio 123, Wellington Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of April 1959.

Declaring Lands in Wellington and Otago Land Districts Vested in the Wellington and Southland Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Southland Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
