BOUNDARIES OF COUNTY OF FRANKLIN

All that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at the South Head of the Manukau
Harbour in Block XIII, Titirangi Survey District, and proceed-
ing easterly generally along the line of mean highwater (spring
tide) of that harbour and the southern shores of Pahurehure
Inlet to and along the western, southern, and eastern bound-
aries of the Borough of Papakura as described in Gazette,
1938, page 470, to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 16,
Suburban Section 1, Parish of Opaheke in Block XV, Otahuhu
Survey District; thence along a right line across Dominion
Road to and along the southern boundaries of Allotment
28, Parish of Hunua, and subdivisions of Allotments 29 and
30 to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments
146, 147, 148, 149, 151, 150, and 173, Parish of Opaheke, to
a point in line with the middle of that part of the public road
which forms the north-western boundary of Allotment 168,
Parish of Hunua in Block I, Opaheke Survey District; thence
easterly along the middle of the aforesaid public road to a
point in line with the south-western boundary of Allotment
S. 170; thence along a right line to and along that boundary
and northerly along the right bank of Hays Creek to the
western side of a road reserve on S.O. 14113²; thence along
a right line to a point in the middle of the public road forming
the western boundary of Allotment S.W. 172 in line with the
southern boundary of the said reserve; thence along the
middle of the public road forming the south-western bound-
aries of Allotments S.W. 172 and S. 172, the southern and
eastern boundaries of Allotment S.E. 172 and the generally
south-eastern boundaries of Allotments M. 172 and N. 172
and the subdivisions of Allotments 173 and 174 to a point
in Block XII, Wairoa Survey District, in line with the northern
boundary of Allotment 112; thence along a right line to and
along that northern boundary and the northern boundary of
Allotment 112A, the aforesaid allotments all being of the
Parish of Hunua, and that last-mentioned boundary produced
to the middle of the Wairoa River; thence up the middle of
that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of
Allotment 86, Parish of Otau, and along a right line to and
along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said Allot-
ment 86 and the eastern boundary of Allotment 85 to and
along the southern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 88
to a point in line with the southern boundary of Allotment
96; thence along a right line across Moumoukai Road to and
along the southern and south-eastern boundaries of the said
Allotment 96, the southern boundaries of the subdivisions of
Allotment 95 and the southern boundary of Allotment 94,
the said allotments all being of the Parish of Otau aforesaid,
to the western boundary of Wharekawa 4c 1 Block; thence
again easterly generally along the aforesaid western boundary
and the western and southern boundaries of Wharekawa
4A 2, the southern boundary of Wharekawa 4c 1 aforesaid, and
the southern boundaries of Wharekawa 4c 2c, 4c 2B 1, 4c 2B 2,
and parts 4B 3E 3, to and down the middle of the Puwhenua
Stream to the sea coast; thence southerly along the sea coast
to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 82, Parish of Koheroa
in Block VI, Wharekawa Survey District; thence generally
westerly along the northern and western boundaries of that
allotment crossing and recrossing the Miranda - New Brighton
Coast Road, to a point in line with the middle of Allotment
231 (formerly part of a public road); thence along the middle
of a public road, to and along the middle of the said Allot-
ment 231 and that line produced to and along the middle of
Miranda Boundary Road and the production of the middle
line of that part which forms the northern boundary of Lot
6, D.P. 33494, to and along the eastern, southern, and western
boundaries of Allotment 213 being a series of right lines
through Lot 1, D.P. 1466, and Lot 3, D.P. 33494, to and
along the middle of a public road, to and along the middle
of a strip of land being that part of Wharekawa 1 Block
between Lot 15, D.P. 31704, Lots 3 and 1, D.P. 27867, and
Lot 13, D.P. 31704, to and along the middle of the public
road which intersects Lots 23, 22, and 21, D.P. 7211, and forms
the northern boundaries of Lots 4 and 3, D.P. 33468, and
Allotments 157 and 158, along the middle of the Pokeno-
Miranda Road to and along right lines passing through
Section 2, Block XVI, Opaheke Survey District (formerly
closed road and now parts Lot 11 on D.P’s. 7211 and 16643),
to and again along the middle of another part of the Pokeno-
Miranda Road to the middle of the Mangatangi Stream;
thence generally south-westerly down the middle of that
stream, the middle of the Maramarua River and the middle
of the Whangamarino River to a right line between the
south-western corner of Allotment 17, all the aforesaid
allotments being of the Parish of Koheroa, and a point on
the left bank of the Waikato River in line with the south-
eastern boundary of Allotment 93, Parish of Onewhero;
thence westerly along that right line to and along the afore-
said left bank of the Waikato River, part of which is the
north-eastern boundary of Allotment 38, Parish of Koheroa
(Tuoro Island), to the sea coast; thence generally northerly
along the sea coast to the point of commencement, excluding
therefrom the Boroughs of Tuakau and Waiuku as described
in Gazette, 1956, page 591, and the Borough of Pukekohe
as described in Gazette, 1958, page 1473.

BOUNDARIES OF MERCER RIDING

All that area in the North Auckland Land District, County
of Franklin, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the
left bank of the Waikato River, due south of the south-eastern
corner of Allotment 65, Parish of Mangatawhiri in Block
I, Maramarua Survey District, and proceeding northerly
across the said river to and along the western side of a public
road forming the eastern boundary of the said allotment, the
eastern boundaries of Allotment 66, and the southern
boundaries of Allotment 68 to and along the eastern bound-
ary of that allotment and the south-western and southern
side of a public road forming the generally northern bound-
ary of the said Allotment 68 to a point in line with the
north-eastern boundary of Allotment 10; thence northerly
generally along a right line across the said public road to
and along that north-eastern boundary, crossing the inter-
vening North Island Main Trunk Railway and the Tuakau-
Pokeno via Whangarata Main Highway and the production
of that north-eastern boundary to and northerly along the
middle of a public road forming the south-eastern boundary
of Lot 1, Deeds Plan Whau 77, to a point in line with
the eastern boundary of the land comprised in certificate
of title, Volume 545, folio 271, being part Lot 1, Deeds
Plan Whau 77, aforesaid, thence along a right line to and
along that eastern boundary along a right line across another
part Lot 1 (C.T. 545/266), to and along the eastern and
northern boundaries of the land comprised in certificate of
title, Volume 545, folio 273, being Lot 2 and part Lot 3 on
the said deeds plan, to and along the north-eastern boundary
of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 545, folio
272, being part Lot 5 on the aforesaid plan, and the last-
mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Brewsters
Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of that road
to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Allot-
ment 42; thence along a right line to and along that north-
eastern boundary and the south-eastern boundaries of Allot-
ments 37, 36, 35, and 34, a right line across the Auckland-
Hamilton State Highway No. 7, to and along the south-eastern
boundary of part Allotment 23, all the aforesaid allotments
being of the Parish of Mangatawhiri, and the production of the
last-mentioned boundary to the middle of a public road forming
the western boundary of Allotment 11, Suburban Section
2, Parish of Mangatawhiri; thence northerly along the middle
of that road to a point in line with the north-western
boundary of the said Allotment 11; thence easterly generally
along a right line to and along the southern side of Trig.
Road to and along the western side of the public road forming
the eastern boundary of Allotment 147 to a point in line
with the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 155; thence along
a right line across that road to and along the said south-
eastern boundary, along the western and southern boundaries
of Allotment 170 and that last-mentioned boundary pro-
duced across a public road to its eastern side; thence northerly
along that roadside being the western and north-western
boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 9244, to and along the southern
boundary of Allotment 173 and its production across Allot-
ments 171A and part Allotment 103 to the western side of
Pinnacle Hill Road; thence along a right line across that road
to and along the southern and eastern boundaries of another
part Allotment 103 and that last-mentioned boundary pro-
duced to the middle of a public road; thence easterly along
the middle of that road which forms the south-western
boundaries of Allotments 102, 232, and 233 to a point in
line with the southern boundary of the last-mentioned
allotment; thence along a right line to and along that south-
ern boundary and the right bank of the Pouraureroa Stream
to a point in line with the southern boundary of Allotment
235; thence along another right line across that stream to
and along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said
Allotment 235 and the left bank of a stream forming the
northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 40194, to and along the
southern boundary of Allotment 238 to its easternmost
corner; thence along a right line across Lot 2, D.P. 40194,
to and along the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 135
on D.P. 11305, all the aforesaid allotments being of the
Parish of Mangatawhiri, and that south-eastern boundary
produced to the middle of a public road; thence northerly
generally along the middle of the road forming the southern
boundary of part Allotment 136 on D.P. 11305, the south-
eastern boundaries of Lots 4 and 3, D.P. 17702, the eastern
boundary of part Allotment 136, the eastern boundaries of
Lots 1 and 11, D.P. 7824, to a point in line with the south-
ern boundary of Allotment 13; thence continuing north-
easterly generally along a right line to and along that
boundary, along the southern side of a public road, again
along the southern and the eastern boundaries of the said
Allotment 13, the generally eastern boundaries of part Lot
2, D.P. 14819, the southern boundary of Allotment 123,
along the southern end of a public road, crossing the inter-
vening Mangatawhiri Stream to and along the southern
boundary of Allotment 125, the southern and eastern bound-
aries of Allotment 126, the eastern boundaries of Allot-
ments 61, 59, 118, 57, 55, 147, 103, and 102 to the south-
western corner of Wharekawa 4A 2; thence easterly, southerly,
and westerly generally along the boundary of the County
of Franklin as hereinbefore described to the point of
commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF COUNTY OF RAGLAN

All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded
by a line commencing at a point in Block VIII, Maioro
Survey District, where the left bank of the Waikato River
meets the sea; thence running north-easterly, easterly, and
