Appointment of Sittings of Court of Appeal

Standard Cost of Production of Apples and Pears for the 1958–59 Season Declared (Notice No. Ag. 6710)
PURSUANT to section 15 of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1948, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares the standard cost of production of apples and pears for the 1958–59 season to be 13s. 0·26d. per case of fruit which has been picked, graded, and dispatched to the depot, with a labour allowance for full wrapping and a material allowance for cases and local market labels only.

Average Price for Apples and Pears for the 1958–59 Season Declared (Notice No. Ag. 6711)
PURSUANT to section 16 of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1948, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares that the average price to be paid to growers by the New Zealand Apple and Pear Marketing Board for apples and pears grown during the 1958–59 season shall be 13s. 0·26d. per case of fruit which has been picked, graded, and dispatched to the depot, with a labour allowance for full wrapping and a material allowance for cases and local market labels only.

Declaration That Private Land be a Private Scenic Reserve

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Putaruru Borough Council on the 18th day of November 1957:
“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Putaruru Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”
