A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a surfaceman’s cottage; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of March 1959.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land in Block V, Matakaoa Survey District, Gisborne R.D., containing 2 acres, and being portion of Wharekahika 1b 2 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 91182 (S.O. 1464) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of March 1959.
