Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Deviation of Portion of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 9th day of October 1945, published in Gazette, 11 October 1945, Volume III, page 1264, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3605, defining the middle line of a deviation of portion of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial Main Highway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land containing 32·3 perches, situated in the Borough of Tawa Flat, Wellington R.D., being Lot 44, D.P. 14282, being part Sections 50 and 51 Porirua District. All certificate of title, Volume 566, folio 139, Wellington Land Registry.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 10th day of December 1924 and published in Gazette, 11 December 1924, Volume III, page 2898, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1482, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Postponing Provisions Relating to the Supply of Electrical Energy by the State

PURSUANT to section 2 of the State Supply of Electrical Energy Amendment Act 1958, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints the 1st day of October 1959 as the day on which section 3A of the State Supply of Electrical Energy Act 1917 (as inserted by section 2 of the State Supply of Electrical Energy Amendment Act 1957) shall come into force.

PURSUANT to section 31 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers upon the Maori Land Court jurisdiction to determine any matter or question affecting the rights of Maoris in any real or personal property affected by the Deed of Conveyance and Trust, dated the 20th day of July 1878, in favour of Roha Borrell and her children.
