Stopping Government Road in Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of road containing 3 roods 35·9 perches, situated in Block XIII, Opaheke Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining parts Allotment 51, Mangatawhiri Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158018 (S.O. 41001) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of February 1959.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the accessways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Waimairi County Council.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

The Makotuku River Pollution Control Order 1959

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 25th day of February 1959
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 61 of the Health Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Makotuku River Pollution Control Order 1959.
- That part of the Makotuku River described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be under the control of the Raetihi Borough Council for the purpose of preventing the pollution thereof pursuant to the Health Act 1956.
SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of the Makotuku River situated in the Waimarino County and the Raetihi Borough, from the confluence of that river with an unnamed stream passing through Ngapakihi Subdivision IV, southerly down that river to the northern side of the Raetihi-Waiouru State Highway, a distance of 65 chains approximately.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

PURSUANT to section 97 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Martinborough Borough Council making and levying charges in respect both of the ordinary as well as of any extraordinary supply, according to the quantity of water consumed by any person receiving the same as measured by meter, at such rates or charges as may from time to time be fixed by any bylaw of the Council in that behalf, or as may be agreed on with any such person.
