SPECIAL AREA—ALTERATION OF BOUNDARY

In the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951
and in the matter of the special area defined by resolution
of the Board dated the 17th day of April 1923 and pub-
lished in Gazette No. 37 dated the 26th day of April 1923
and as altered under the provisions of section 5, Christchurch
District Drainage Amendment Act 1922, and section 60,
Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, by resolutions of
the Christchurch Drainage Board dated the 15th day of

PURSUANT to the powers vested in it by the Christchurch
District Drainage Act 1951, the Christchurch Drainage Board,
at a meeting held on the 17th day of February 1959, hereby
resolves that the boundary of the said special area herein-
before described and defined shall be further altered so as to
include in the said special area all those areas more particu-
larly described in the Schedule hereto, and further resolves
that the said areas shall form part of and be included in the
Subdivision B of the said special area and that the boundaries
of the said Subdivision B shall be altered accordingly so as
to include all those areas more particularly described in the
Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

KENWYN AVENUE AND TOMES ROAD EXTENSION

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, the
said point being the south-eastern corner of Lot 6, Deposit
Plan No. 14182; then north-westerly, north-easterly, and
south-easterly along the south-western, north-western, and
north-eastern boundaries of Lot 4 on that Deposit Plan to
the special area boundary; then south-westerly generally
along the special area boundary to the north-eastern side of
Tomes Road; then north-westerly along the north-eastern
side of that road to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE

MEMORIAL AVENUE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary,
the said point being on the south-western side of Memorial
Avenue and being the northern corner of Lot 155, Deposit
Plan No. 17066; then north-westerly and north-easterly along
the south-western side of Memorial Avenue and the south-
eastern side of Woolridge Road to the south-western side of
Winslow Street, a road shown on a plan to be deposited by
Davie, Lovell-Smith, and Todd, registered surveyors; then
south-easterly and easterly along the south-western and
southern sides of Winslow Street and south-easterly along the
south-western side of Burnside Crescent to and across Eskdale
Street to the south-eastern corner of Lot 22 on that proposed
deposit plan; then south-westerly along the south-eastern
boundaries of Lots 22, 23, and to the north-eastern side of
Memorial Avenue; then south-easterly along the north-
eastern side of that road to the north-western boundary of
Lot 1, Deposit Plan No. 18742; then north-easterly, south-
easterly, and south-westerly along the north-western, north-
eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, to the north-
eastern side of Memorial Avenue; then south-easterly along
the north-eastern side of that road to a point distant 150
links north-west of the south-eastern boundary of the land
contained in certificate of title, Volume 535, folio 136, Can-
terbury Registry; then north-easterly by a line at right angles
a distance of 250 links and south-easterly by a line at right
angles a distance of 150 links to the south-eastern boundary
of the land contained in said certificate of title; then south-
west erly along that title boundary and its production to and
across Memorial Avenue to the special area boundary; then
north-westerly along the special area boundary to the point
of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE

DIGBY PLACE AND PART WALCOT STREET

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, the
said point being the northern corner of Lot 17, Deposit Plan
No. 20296; then south-easterly generally along the north-
eastern boundaries of Lots 17, 18, and 19, to the eastern
corner thereof; then south-westerly along the south-eastern
boundaries of Lots 19 to 26 inclusive, to and across Walcot
Street and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 27 to
34 inclusive, to the southern corner thereof; then north-
west erly along the south-western boundary of Lot 34, across
the end of Digby Place, along the south-western boundary
of Lot 1 to the special area boundary; then north-easterly
along the special area boundary to the point of commencement.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

WHARENUl ROAD

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, the
said point being on the southern boundary of Lot 5, Deposit
Plan No. 17612; then westerly, northerly, and easterly along
the southern, western, and northern boundaries of Lot 5 to
the special area boundary; then southerly along the special
area boundary to the point of commencement.

FIFTH SCHEDULE

KOWHAI TERRACE

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, the
said point being the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, Deposit
Plan No. 10082; then southerly, westerly, north-easterly, and
easterly generally along the special area boundary to the point
of commencement.

SIXTH SCHEDULE

NEW STREET OFF BRIGGS ROAD

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, the
said point being the north-western corner of Lot 1, Deposit
Plan No. 17825; then northerly, westerly, and southerly
generally along the eastern, northern, and western boundaries
of Lot 1, Deposit Plan No. 20042, to the special area boun-
dary; then north-easterly along the special area boundary
to the point of commencement.

SEVENTH SCHEDULE

JOY STREET EXTENSION

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, the
said point being on the northern boundary of Lot 7, Deposit
Plan No. 20091; then easterly, southerly, and westerly
along the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of Lot 7
and the southern boundary of Lot 6 to the special area
boundary; then northerly along the special area boundary
to the point of commencement.

EIGHTH SCHEDULE

ROWSES ROAD

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the special area boundary, the
said point being on the north-western side of Rowses Road
in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, Deposit
Plan No. 19975; then south-easterly across Rowses Road and
along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 to the south-
eastern corner thereof; then south-westerly along the south-
eastern boundaries of Lots 1 to 9 inclusive, on said deposit
plan, to the south-western corner thereof; then north-
west erly along the south-western boundary of Lot 9 and its
production to and across Rowses Road to the special area
boundary; then north-easterly along the special area boun-
dary to the point of commencement.
