Wellington Abattoir District Extended (Notice No. Ag. 6459)

PURSUANT to section 15 (7) of the Meat Act 1939, notice is hereby given:

(1) That, by agreement between the Wellington City Corporation and the Upper Hutt Borough Council, the abattoir established and maintained by the said city corporation has been made available for the Upper Hutt Borough;

(2) The Wellington Abattoir District, as affected by the said agreement, shall comprise all that area described in the Schedule hereto; and

(3) The Wellington City Council shall be the controlling authority of the abattoir for the purposes of the Wellington Abattoir District described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area for the time being comprised in the Cities of Wellington and Lower Hutt, the Boroughs of Eastbourne, Tawa Flat, and Upper Hutt, the County of Makara, and the ridings of Wainuiomata, Eastern Bays, Epuni, Heretaunga, and Mangaroa in the County of Hutt.

Declaration That Part of the Christchurch City and Suburban Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Land

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that part of the Christchurch City and Suburban Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said land.
