to be a member of the Wellington Harbour Board as a representative of the electors of the combined district of the City of Palmerston North and the Counties of Manawatu, Oroua, Horowhenua, Pohangina, Kairanga, and Kiwitea, and of the Boroughs of Feilding, Foxton, Shannon, Otaki, and Levin, in place of the Hon. P. O. S. Skoglund, M.P., resigned.

Declaration That Part of the Titahi Bay Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Makara County Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Titahi Bay Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Makara, in trust, for recreation purposes.
