PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 15th day of December 1958.

All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 2 roods 38·9 perches, situated in Block X, Huangarua Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 1, Wharekaka Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157582 (S.O. 24159) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
