GOODS, LIVESTOCK, PARCELS, AND LUGGAGE—continued

  1. Petroleum Products in Owner’s Tank Wagons—continued

  2. All tank wagons are to be loaded to their full carrying capacity.

  3. Privately Owned Empty Tank Wagons which on the outward journey have been used for the conveyance of benzine, kerosene, or similar mineral oils, and fuel oil, will, when being returned from the original consignee and the original receiving station to the original consignor and the original forwarding station, be hauled free. Where the empty tank wagon is not returned to the original forwarding station, but is forwarded to another station for filling, and where the milage, when the empty tank is railed, is in excess of that for which it is entitled to free return, the excess milage will be charged at the rate of 4s. per mile. Where such tank wagons are sent to Railway Workshops for repairs, no charge will be made for railage or haulage.

Paragraph 5 (c):

Omit: Goods for which W, WA, Fv, V, or Vb wagons are ordered, per ton.

Insert: Goods for which W, WA, Fv, V, Vb, or Vs wagons are ordered, per ton.

  1. Storage

Paragraph 1, Free Allowance: Omit the last sentence from this paragraph, and substitute the following:

Working hours shall be deemed to be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The following days will be treated as dies non:

Saturdays
Sundays
2 January

Other days on which goods sheds are closed, including Anniversary Day, or the day observed in lieu thereof, in each province.

  1. Demurrage

Paragraph 6, Working Hours: Omit this paragraph, and substitute the following:

  1. Working Hours—For the purpose of calculating demurrage charges, working hours shall be deemed to be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The following days will be treated as dies non:

Saturdays
Sundays
2 January

Other days on which goods sheds are closed, including Anniversary Day, or the day observed in lieu thereof, in each province.

  1. Check and Empty Railway Wagons: Bogie and Special Wagons

Paragraph 3: Omit, the words “Regulation 88, Paragraph 6”, and substitute “Regulation 89, Paragraph 3”.

  1. “Owner’s Risk” Goods: Insurance of Goods

Paragraph 1: After the words “consigned to” in the seventeenth line add the words “or from”.
