Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Rotorua Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 157657 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 45 ft from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the South Auckland Land District, Borough of Rotorua, containing by admeasurement 38·5 perches, more or less, being part Section 92, Suburbs of Rotorua; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157657 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a marae for the common use and benefit of the Ngatitutemohuta hapu and other Maoris resident in locality.

Appointments, Promotion, Extensions of Commissions and Date of Retirement, Terminations of Commissions, Resignations, and Retirements of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Pursuant to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotion, extensions of commissions and date of retirement, terminations of commissions, resignations, and retirements of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
REGULAR AIR FORCE ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH Extension of the Date of Retirement Equipment Division The age for retirement of Wing Commander (temp.) Andrew Robertson Grimwood (70295) is extended for a period of one year, with effect from 8 January 1959.
EDUCATION BRANCH Extension of Commission Flight Lieutenant Peter Elliot Hope (77257) is granted an extension of his present commission for a period of five years, with effect from 6 January 1959.
TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE TECHNICAL BRANCH Termination of Commission Signals Division The commission of Flight Lieutenant (temp.) John Harrild Kempthorne (133883) is terminated, with effect from 29 October 1958.
AIR TRAINING CORPS Appointments Arnold Saunderson, B.SC., is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with effect from 23 July 1958. Robert John Willyams, M.A., is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Pilot Officer, with effect from 21 October 1958.
Promotion Pilot Officer Lloyd Francis Pratt to be Flying Officer, with effect from 1 May 1958.
