DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Crematorium Loan 1958, £60,500
'PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on loan of £60,500 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a crematorium, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0567d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND CLOSING OF PORTION OF ROAD UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the above-mentioned Act, to take the land in the First Schedule hereto for road and to close portion of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the above Council, situated at Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said land or the closing of the said road who have any objections thereto must state their objections in writing and lodge same at the office of the County Clerk within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR COUNTY DEPOT AND STORE SITE
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a county depot and store site passing through or adjoining the parcel of land referred to hereunder and situated in the Waitakere Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated at the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objection in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 5·0 perches, being part Lot 2, D.P. 44747, being part of John Brighams Claim and part Section 1, Block X, Waitemata S.D.; coloured yellow on plan.
Being situated in Block X, Waitemata Survey District, and in the Land District of North Auckland.

AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN DRAINAGE BOARD
SPECIAL ORDER
Sale of Land
THE Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1944 and its amendments, doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to submit the following residential sections for sale by public auction at the sale rooms of Stace Bennett Ltd., 12 O’Connell Street, Auckland, on Friday, the 31st day of October 1958, at 1 p.m.:
Mount Wellington Borough:
Lots 1, 3, 11, and 12 on D.P. 42060, being part of Hamlin’s Grant, situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1397, folio 37, Auckland Registry; subject to an agreement as to fencing contained in Transfer No. 558760, and the said Lot 3 being subject to and having appurtenant to it the rights of way created by Transfer No. 558619.
Glendowie—Abingdon Place, off Riddell Road:
Lots 1 to 9 inclusive, and Lot 11 on D.P. 45504, being parts of Allotments 20 and 21 of the District of Tamaki, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1517, folio 53, Auckland Registry; subject to an agreement as to fencing contained in Transfer No. 595753.
That the Board has fixed a reserve price and reserves the right to bid and to withdraw any sections from sale, and that the sections may be offered in such order and in such manner as the auctioneer may decide, and that if not sold at public auction the sections may be disposed of later by private treaty, and that any sale is conditional upon these resolutions being confirmed as a special order.
The foregoing special order was made by way of special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Board held on the 10th day of October 1958. It was publicly noticed in the Auckland Star on the 11th and 25th days of October 1958 and confirmed at a special meeting of the Board held on the 7th day of November 1958.
The Common Seal of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board was hereto affixed this 7th day of November 1958 in the presence of:
