Exempting Railway Lease and Siding Right in the Wellington Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

COBHAM, Governor-General

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice:


NOTICE

THE Railway Lease and Siding Right described in the Schedule hereto are hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.


SCHEDULE

RAILWAY Lease No. 22101 dated the 18th day of March 1935 and Agreement of Extension dated the 22nd day of July 1936 affecting all that parcel of land containing 2 roods 12·9 perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of Railway Reserve, situate at Wanganui fronting an approach road adjacent to Churton Street, Wanganui, and Railway Siding Right of Access No. 4863 dated the 10th day of February 1955 granting right of access to the Aramoho-Wanganui line of railway.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 30th day of October 1958.

PURSUANT to section 16 of the New Zealand Army Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army:

Major and Quartermaster Reginald Milton Nutsford is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery, in the rank of Major and Quartermaster. Dated 9 October 1958.

Captain (temp. Major) J. B. Will is granted an extension of his engagement until 15 May 1959.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster R. W. Stitt to be temp. Captain and Quartermaster (local rank, Fiji Military Forces). Dated 13 May 1957.

12th Heavy Anti-aircraft Regiment, RNZA

Lieutenant D. J. Roberts to be temp. Captain. Dated 25 September 1958.
