HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Henderson taken on the 4th day of October 1958 on the proposal of the Henderson Borough Council to borrow the sum of £50,000 for the purpose of improving streets and footpaths and purchasing land for off-street parking of motor vehicles:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 157.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 143.
The number of informal votes was 2.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
