Licensing Mr D. A. Norman to Use and Occupy a Part of
the Foreshore in Whangamata Harbour as a Site for a
Slipway

———

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine
hereby licenses and permits Douglas Alexander Norman
(hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his
administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context
requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part
of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in Whanga-
mata Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10434 and
deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellin-
ton, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a
slipway as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held
and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms
and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
    tions 1940 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
    far as applicable, apply hereto.
  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st
    day of October 1958.
  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds
    (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—Piako County: Notice
of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and
Prohibitions

———

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the
period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by
the Piako County Council in the interests of the Piako
County district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for
this notice would expire between the date of public notifica-
tion hereof and the 1st day of November 1959 inclusive, is
hereby extended to the said 1st day of November 1959.

Wellington this 25th day of September 1958.

Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the
period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by
the Christchurch City Council in the interests of the Christ-
church City district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but
for this notice would expire between the date of public noti-
fication hereof and the 1st day of November 1959 inclusive,
is hereby extended to the said 1st day of November 1959.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the
Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land for
the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 28th day of
August 1958, subject to the fencing covenant contained in
memorandum of transfer No. 484142, Canterbury Land
Registry, and subject also as to Lot 49, D.P. 18172, to the
building-line restriction imposed by notice No. 416531, Canter-
bury Land Registry.
