the Port of Oamaru Appointed

Pursuant to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister
of Labour hereby appoints:

Thomas Vincent Harris

to be the Deputy Chairman of the Port Conciliation Committee
for the Port of Oamaru for a term expiring on the 31st day
of March 1959, vice Alexander Gray McHardy.

Appointing a Supervising Officer Under the Motor Launch
Regulations 1958

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950 and the Motor Launch
Regulations 1958, the Minister of Marine hereby appoints

to be a supervising officer under the said regulations in
respect of those waters of the sea fronting Maraetai Beach.

Appointment of Commissioner of the High Court of
Western Samoa

Pursuant to section 64 of the Samoa Act 1921, the Minister
of Island Territories hereby appoints
Noel Cameron Kelly, Esquire,
of Apia, Western Samoa, to be a Commissioner of the High
Court of Western Samoa on and from the 15th day of September 1958.

Member of Board of Trustees of National Art Gallery and
Dominion Museum Appointed

Pursuant to section 2(1)(f) of the National Art Gallery
and Dominion Museum Amendment Act 1936, His Excellency
the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Michael Rotohiko Jones, Esquire,
to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the National
Art Gallery and Dominion Museum as representing the
Maori race, for a term of three years, as on and from the
1st day of October 1958.

Appointment of Receiver Under the Companies Special
Investigations Act 1958

Pursuant to section 27 of the Companies Special Investigations
Act 1958, the Minister of Justice has appointed Arthur
Walter Christmas, of Auckland, public accountant, receiver of
all the property in New Zealand of Cyril Ernie Richard
Webber, inmate of Auckland Prison.

Appointment of Deputy Receiver Under the Companies
Special Investigations Act 1958

Pursuant to section 4 of the Companies Special Investigations
Act 1958, the Minister of Justice has appointed Ronald
Matthew Boyd, of Auckland, public accountant, deputy receiver
and manager of each of the companies specified in the First
Schedule to the said Act.

Declaration That the Mainene Domain Shall be a Recreation
Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the
Said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that the Mainene Domain described
in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the
provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953,
and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to
Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes the reservation
for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

Declaration That Part of the Temuka Domain Shall be a
Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over
the Said Land

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Temuka
Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be
subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and
Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation
reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes
the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.
