Cancellation of the Vesting in the Waiau Rabbit Board and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Waiau Rabbit Board and revokes the reservation for Rabbit Board buildings over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Licensing McCallum Brothers Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark in the Weiti River as a Site for a Scow Landing

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits McCallum Brothers Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in the Weiti River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10341 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a scow landing as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of September 1958.

4. This licence is in substitution for the Order in Council of 19 October 1955, licensing W. F. McCallum, trading as McCallum Brothers, to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark in the Weiti River as a site for a mooring gantry, conveyor, and hopper.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 22nd day of September 1958.
