Boundaries of County of Waitotara and City of Wanganui Altered
COBHAM, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of August 1958
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

On and from the 1st day of April 1959, the areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Waitotara and included in the City of Wanganui.

The alteration of boundaries of the said county and the said city hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE AREAS EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF WAITOTARA AND INCLUDED IN CITY OF WANGANUI ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the City of Wanganui as described in Gazette 1956, page 425, being the westernmost corner of Lot 8 as shown on D.P. 4242; thence northerly along the western boundaries of that lot and Lots 9, 10, and 11, as shown on D.P. 4242; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Lot 11 aforesaid, and its production to the middle of a public road; thence northerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 19 as shown on D.P. 4242; thence easterly to and along that boundary to the easternmost corner of that lot; thence southerly along the eastern boundaries of Lots 19, 20, 21, 23, and 24 as shown on D.P. 4242, to the easternmost corner of Lot 25 as shown on D.P. 4242, being a point on the boundary of the City of Wanganui described as aforesaid; thence north-westerly and south-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement. Also all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the City of Wanganui as described in Gazette 1955, page 1159, being the westernmost corner of Lot 2 as shown on D.P. 10330; thence north-easterly and easterly along the north-western and northern boundaries of the said Lot 2 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary across the Heads-Mosstown Main Highway to its eastern side, being a point on the boundary of the City of Wanganui described as aforesaid; thence generally westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

The Southern Side of Portion of Stalker Lane, in the Borough of Greymouth, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of August 1958

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Greymouth Borough Council on the 21st day of November 1955, and set out in the First Schedule hereto in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of Stalker Lane, described in the Second Schedule hereto, within a distance of 8 ft. from the side line of the said portion of street.
FIRST SCHEDULE THE Greymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets of the Borough of Greymouth, by resolution declares that the provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the portion of Stalker Lane fronting Sections 303A, 303E, 302A, 303B, 303C, and 304H, M.R. 31, Town of Greymouth.
SECOND SCHEDULE THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in the Borough of Greymouth, known as Stalker Lane, fronting Section 303B, part Maori Reserve 31; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 154056 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
ORDER

(1) This order may be cited as the Taupo Rabbit District Order 1958. (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

The boundaries of the Taupo Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of October 1953,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as from the commencement of this order the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE BOUNDARIES OF THE TAUPO RABBIT DISTRICT ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, in the Borough of Taupo and the Otorohanga and Taupo Counties containing 381,500 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the right bank of the Waipapa River with the left bank of the Waikato River in Block XVI, Wharepapa Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly, southerly, and westerly up the left bank of the Waikato River to a point due west of the junction of the middle of the Otumuheke Stream with the right bank of the Waikato River in Block II, Tauhara Survey District; thence easterly, southerly, and westerly generally along a right line to the aforementioned junction, along the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of the Borough of Taupo as described in Gazette 1953, page 1476, to the shores of Lake Taupo; thence along the northern shores of Lake Taupo to the southernmost corner of Tihoi No. 1 Block, in Block XIV, Marotiri Survey District; thence northerly generally along the western and northern boundaries of Waihaha (Nos. 3D 1 and 3E 4) C, (Nos. 3D 1 and 3E 4) A, No. 3E 3 Blocks and the northern and eastern boundaries of Waihaha No. 3A Block (Permanent State Forest, Gazette 1935, page 581) and Maraeroa A No. 2 Block to Trig. Station 1390 (Pureroa) in Block III, Hurakia Survey District; thence along a right line to the source of the Ongarue River and along another right line in the direction of Trig. Station 1641 (Rangitoto) in Block IV, Pakaumanu Survey District, to the south-eastern boundary of Maraeroa A No. 3B 2 Block, in Block XIV, Ranginui Survey District, crossing the afore-mentioned A No. 2 Block, and Maraeroa A No. 3A Block; thence along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of the aforesaid A No. 3B 2 Block, along the eastern boundary of Maraeroa A No. 1 Block (being Provisional State Forest, Gazette 1920, page 2119), to and along the south-eastern boundary of Pouakani B No. 7 Block (part being Provisional State Forest, Gazette 1931, page 1454), to and down the right bank of the Waiteti Stream to a point in Block XI, Ranginui Survey District, due west of Trig, Station 1781 in Block X, Whakamaru Survey District; thence due west along a right line crossing the Waiteti Stream and the aforesaid B No. 7 Block and the Waipapa River to a point due south of the northernmost corner of Section 2, Block VII, Ranginui Survey District (part being Provisional State Forest, Gazette 1920, page 2119); thence along a right line crossing Pouakani A No. 3B Block (Provisional State Forest, Gazette 1937, page 2206), Pouakani A No. 3A Block (part being Provisional State Forest, Gazette 1920, page 2108), and the aforesaid Section 2 to the said northernmost corner; thence along another right line to the junction of the right bank of the Waipapa River with the right bank of the Maunukiore Stream crossing part Wharepuhunga No. 20 Block, Pouakani A No. 2B Block, and the Waipapa River; thence down the right bank of the Waipapa River to the point of commencement.
