Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Patearoa Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Patearoa Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Licensing Fiordland Travel Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of Lake Te Anau as a Site for a Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Fiordland Travel Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of Lake Te Anau as a site for a slipway, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10360 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of April 1958.

3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be one pound (£1) and the annual sum so payable three pounds (£3).

4. Launch owners shall have the right to use the slipway at all reasonable times.
