HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
LICENCE

This order may be cited as the Springs-Ellesmere Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1958.

Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Springs-Ellesmere Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place and use electric lines and to construct electric works within the area of supply described in the First Schedule hereto.

The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution thereof, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence:
Provided that the licensee shall not by virtue of this clause be required, except in the normal course of alteration, repair,
or maintenance to reconstruct in conformity with the regulations hereinbefore mentioned any existing electric line or work which conformed to the regulations in force at the time of the construction thereof, and has not become a hazardous line as described in the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935. -
The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 3rd day of July 1964.

The Orders in Council specified in the Second Schedule hereto authorising the licensee to erect, maintain and use electric lines are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
AREA OF SUPPLY
THE Springs-Ellesmere Electric Power District as defined in the Proclamations dated the 14th day of April 1930 and published in the Gazette on the 17th day of the same month, and dated the 27th day of January 1931 and published in the Gazette on the 5th day of February 1931 at page 215, in section 62 of the Local Legislation Act 1933, and in the Proclamation dated the 7th day of October 1957 and published in the Gazette on the 10th day of the same month at page 1773.
