Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Takapuna Borough Council

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Takapuna, in trust, for that purpose.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for a recreation ground over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land shall be held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland with the adjoining land in certificate of title, Volume 1345, folio 57, and be subject to the same powers of disposition as the Auckland City Council already has in respect of that adjoining land.

Licensing the Dargaville Borough Council to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark on the Northern Wairoa River at Dargaville as a Site for Piles

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits the Dargaville Borough Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark on the Northern Wairoa River at Dargaville as shown on plan marked M.D. 10260 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon piles as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1958.
3. The annual sum payable by the licensee shall be one shilling (1s.) payable on demand.
4. A scotchlite beacon shall be erected on the outermost pile.
