Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in Blocks X and XI, Puketi Survey District, for a Maori School
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a Maori school; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the additional land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Tokaanui and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing, and send the writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 5 acres 2 roods 1.7 perches, situated in Blocks X and XI, Puketi Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Waipapa 1E 2B 8; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155984 (S.O. 24060) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school; and notice is hereby given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Waitahuna and is there open for inspection and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

ALL that piece of land in the Otago Land District containing 2 roods, situated in Block XX, Town of Havelock, Otago R.D., being the area used for school recreation, and also being Sections 1 and 2; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155890 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for better utilisation; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Hokitika and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Westland Land District containing 1 rood 10 perches, situated in Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District, Westland R.D., being part Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 142, being part Rural Section 1652, and being back land situated approximately eight chains from the Ruatapu Road and Ross-Hokitika Railway. Balance certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 65, Westland Land Registry.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156003 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereupon edged red.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953: Pukekohe Borough— Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Refusals and Prohibitions
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of each refusal or prohibition made by the Pukekohe Borough Council in the interests of the Pukekohe Borough district scheme, which refusal or prohibition but for this notice would expire between the date of public notification hereof and the 1st day of February 1959 inclusive, is hereby extended to the said 1st day of February 1959.

Recognition of Domestic Driving Permits
PURSUANT to regulation 6 (1) (a) of the Transport (Convention on Road Traffic) Regulations 1958, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the recognition in New Zealand of valid driving licences or permits issued by competent authorities in Australia.

PURSUANT to regulation 7 (1) of the Transport (Convention on Road Traffic) Regulations 1958, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the society described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of receiving applications for and the issue of International Driving Permits under the said regulations additional to those organisations and incorporated societies already likewise approved†.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
