NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND
NOTICE is hereby given that Gollin Holdings Ltd., a company incorporated in Victoria and which has established a place of business in New Zealand at Huddart Parker Building, Post Office Square, Wellington, will cease to have a place of business in New Zealand on the expiration of three (3) months from the first appearance of this advertisement.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Hutt County Council on 12 December 1957, variations to the proposed district scheme relating to the Paraparaumu-Raumati area have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
A plan giving particulars of variations to the scheme has been deposited in the post offices of Paraparaumu Township, Paraparaumu Beach, Raumati Beach, and Raumati South; also at the County Office, Bowen Street, Wellington, and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.
Objections to the variations shall be in writing in the form No.4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954 (obtainable from the undersigned), and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 25 April 1958.
At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
The nature of the variations are as follows:
(1) Part of industrial zoning in Paraparaumu Township east of Hinemoa Street is rezoned residential.
(2) Part of industrial zoning south of Ruapehu Street and east side of Epiha Street is rezoned residential.
(3) Industrial zoning Kiwi Road, with the exception of one section, rezoned residential.
(4) Part industrial zoning Hinemoa Street is rezoned commercial.
(5) Lot 12, D.P. 18477, and hotel site zoned commercial, remainder of Ngarara West 2A 2B and 3A rezoned rural.
(6) Part commercial zoning in Margaret Road and Rosetta Road in Raumati Beach rezoned residential.
(7) Part commercial zoning Paraparaumu Beach (Ocean Road to drainage reserve fronting Marine Parade) rezoned residential.
(8) Part of industrial zoning (part Section 1, Tikotu Settlement, Paraparaumu Beach), rezoned rural.
(9) Part of residential zoning Paraparaumu Beach (part of Pt.A73, Ngarara West) rezoned rural.
(10) Part of residential zoning Paraparaumu Beach (part of Section 1s, Ngarara Settlement) rezoned rural.
(11) Industrial zoning owned by Metzenthin in Raumati resited from Miro Road extension to between Hillcrest Road extension and Matai Road.
(12) Residential zoning in vicinity Ratanui Road rezoned rural.
(13) Residential zoning in Otaihanga rezoned rural.
(14) Reserve at the end of Parakai Road, Paraparaumu, rezoned residential.
(15) Reserve between Allen Road and Rosetta Road, Raumati Beach, rezoned residential.
(16) Proposed road linking Renown Road and Margaret Road, Raumati. This road was previously shown as linking Renown Road and Allen Road.
(17) Proposed motorway rerouted in the vicinity of Otaihanga Road as shown on plan.
(18) Code of Ordinances, page 0.5.
Predominant Uses in Rural Zones
Paragraph (f) added, viz.:
(f) Dwellinghouses on residential lots which legally exist in the rural zone at the time of the plan becoming operative.
(19) Provision is made for detached dwellings on commercial lots provided the shop and dwelling are on the same title.

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two thousand pounds (£2,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of erecting public conveniences at public gardens, Weraroa Reserve and Cambridge Park, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of fourteen four-hundredths of a penny (14/400d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Levin, comprising the whole of the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Sewerage Completion Loan 1956, £26,000—Third and Final Issue, £11,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eleven thousand pounds (£11,000) authorised to be raised by the Opotiki Borough Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of providing drainage and sewerage works and works for the disposal of sewage, the said Opotiki Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point eight four three of a penny (0·843d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Opotiki; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Opotiki Borough Council held on the 9th day of January 1958.

RAUPO DRAINAGE BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
In pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Raupo Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,600 authorised to be raised by the Raupo Drainage Board under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a dragline and truck, the said Raupo Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Board's area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of seven years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
