Reducing Extent of a 30 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. That Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 16th day of March 1953* which relates to an area at Clinton in Clutha County is hereby revoked.

  2. The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 36 of the Transport Act 1949.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Clutha County—

That portion of the Dunedin-Gore State Highway No. 61 at Clinton from its junction with Side Street to a point 4 chains east of its junction with Balta Street.

Also that portion of the Clinton-Owaka Main Highway No. 715 from its junction with the Dunedin-Gore State Highway No. 61 to a point 8 chains south-west of its junction with Side Street.

Revocation of Notice Exempting Biological Products from the Provisions of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951 (Notice No. Ag. 6502)

PURSUANT to subclause (14) of regulation 40 of the Stock Remedies (Biological Products) Regulations 1951, notice is hereby given that the Stock Remedies Registration Board has resolved that the provisions of the said regulation shall now apply to the following product:

“Aureomycin” Crystalline Ointment for udder infusion.

This notice hereby revokes Notice No. Ag. 5640 of 17 May 1954, which appeared in Gazette, No. 31, dated 20 May 1954, page 876.
