AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Parking Building Additional Loan 1957, £95,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £95,000 to be known as the Parking Building Additional Loan 1957 authorised to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the additional cost of construction of the vehicle parking building at Britomart Place and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-ninths of one penny (2/9ths of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Purchase of Properties Loan 1957, £150,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £150,000 to be known as the Purchase of Properties Loan 1957 authorised to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing properties and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eleven thirty-seconds of one penny (11/32nds of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Howe Street Flats Loan 1957, £22,600

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £22,600 to be known as the Howe Street Flats Loan 1957 authorised to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing flats for single pensioners and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twentieth of one penny (1/20th of 1d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Auckland comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

West Belt Water Loan 1958, £5,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Borough water supply to the West Belt portion of the Borough, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three two five pence in the pound (·325d.) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years (20 years), or until the loan is fully paid off.”

INANGAHUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Inangahua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,100 authorised to be raised by the Inangahua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing houses for pensioners, the said Inangahua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·029 of a penny in the pound on the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Inangahua, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

KAMO TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kamo Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,000 authorised to be raised by the Kamo Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of building a worker’s dwelling, the said Kamo Town Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·27d. (twenty-seven hundredths of one penny) in the £ upon the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Kamo Town District, comprising the whole of the Town District of Kamo, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 10th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PUTARURU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Putaruru Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £13,000 authorised to be raised by the Putaruru Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying for the cost of erecting a new fire station in the Borough of Putaruru, the said Putaruru Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·656d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Putaruru; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Putaruru Borough Council held on the 8th day of April 1958.
