Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in County of Hobson

(Notice No. Ag. 6497)


PURSUANT to the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Acting Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Hobson County Council on the 21st day of March 1958.


SPECIAL ORDER

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Hobson County Council doth hereby resolve and declare by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto are noxious weeds within the County of Hobson.


SCHEDULE

MIST flower or Mexican devil (Eupatorium adenophorum).

Pennisetum (Pennisetum macrourum).

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Maniapoto Development Scheme)


PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 30 November 1939 and published in the Gazette, 14 December 1939, Volume III, page 3520.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 5 June 1946 and published in the Gazette, 6 June 1946, Volume II, page 772.
